In response to the growing tension over the fate of Ukraine, the U.S. plans to deploy one of its most feared agencies on the increasingly belligerent Russia: the IRS. The Associated Press says that the U.S. will utilize the FACTA law that requires U.S. banks to start withholding a 30 percent tax on certain payments to financial institutions in other countries unless those foreign banks have agreements in place to share information about U.S.
